A transformative 14+ month journey grounded in culture, community, and teamwork. The IRONMOB Program selects 8 First Nations people from across the country to support them to have the physical and mental strength to do the hardest one day endurance event in the world an IRONMAN. The pogram includes six intensive training and race camps held in different locations across Australia. Using a scaffolded approach each camp is progressively more difficult than the last and builds our athletes ability to take on such a hard challenge. Our IRONMOB participants each recieve 1-1 personalised coaching, mentoring, and pathways to accredited AusTriathlon qualifications. Whilst the ultimate program goal was to empower more Mob to cross the finish line of an IRONMAN, the program has become so much more for our participants.

Beyond training, the Mob are guided by TRIMOB staff, IRONMOB alumni, and TRIMOB members and community, who offer ongoing mentorship and support. A key part of the journey is participating in six training camps, held at existing swim, bike, and run events or dedicated skills and fitness camps. These camps are critical, not only for building capability but also for fostering cultural and social connections with each other and the broader community.
